Why you need these foods
The largest organ to Detox, is the liver, so we start every day by
Detoxing with hot water with a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Water Around 80% of our body is consists of water and we need to maintain
this equilibrium. If we increase the exercise we will have to increase
the amount of water we drink. The added 1.5 litres of water must be
taken over the day and not taken quickly over a short period.
Your Liver is treated over the course of the programme with: fresh
fruit, garlic, herbal tea.
Kidney treatments, include daily eating and drinking of
specific foods that boost the kidneys performance, this may include
all or some of the following. Hot water and Honey; Cramberry juice or
a melon.
Vitamins, although some programmes may involve the taking of
multivitamins, we believe that a healthy diet is all that is
necessary.
Three meals a day, must be taken for a healthy life style
and diet. Never miss a meal, little and often is better than a lot.
You may eat four smaller meals rather than two larger.
Brown Rice is one of the most valuable carbohydrates we can
have in our diet. It is very absorbent and gives rise to little
allergies or intolerances, which wheat based carbohydrates cause.
Other foods on our list will consist of fruit, vegetables,
salads, herbs, fish, nuts, seeds, and (Goat ) cheese / yoghurt.
A sensible diet, with a combination of the above is essential to
your daily requirements. We will vary the diet as much as possible.
Fruit & Vegetables are high in nutrients as they contain
large amounts of essential vitamins, amino acids and minerals. High in
fibre, potassium but contain little waste and few calories. If you
ever need a snack, fruit or vegetable are perfect. You must aim to eat
these as fresh as possible, the longer they are kept, the more
nutrients are lost.
Nuts are extremely high in nutrients, potassium, fatty
acids and fibre, however they are high in calories, so must be taken
with caution.

Non Dairy products such as yoghurt and milk. Non-dairy
describes the fermentation process, which is different to that used in
cow's milk production. This type of food is easier to digest.
Non-dairy produce may include; cheese, milk, and yohurt.
Fish contains essential proteins but oily fish such as
salmon contains the added benefits of oil. Canned fish may still be
used if fresh fish is not available but is best if it is in olive or
vegetable oil, rather than water. Frozen fish is only taken if the
above are not available.
Pulses & Seeds are high in nutrients and add flavour &
colour to other foods.
Common foods you may not have include:
Avocado, banana,
bread, caffeine, chocolate, cow's milk, mushrooms, oranges, peanuts,
salt and sugar.
